Academic mobility involves the movement of students or teachers for a certain period in other educational or scientific institution for learning, teaching, research or training.

Our «Food Engineering» chair actively working in this direction, so each year the program of the academic mobility of the best students of the Chair during the semester undergo training at the partner universities.

The department «Food Engineering» implements programs of academic mobility of students in the framework of international agreements with the following foreign and CIS universities-partners:

• Valencia Politechnic University (Spain)
• University of Ghent (Belgium)
• Institute of freeze and biotechnologies of the University  of IT, mechanics and optics (Russia)
• Moscow State University of Food production (Moscow city, Russia)
• Hamburg Applied Sciences University  (Hamburg city, Germany)
• Krakow Agricultural University (Krakow)
• University of Primorsko (Slovenia)

In 2019 programs Erasmus+ were trained in Padova University (Italy) 3 master- students: Amangeldi M., Lonkin V., Gapurova N. and 1 student: Karsysbaeva A. - University of Primorsko (Slovenia).

About internal academic mobility in the leading educational institutions of our country in the Almaty Technological University (Almaty city) 2 students: Altayeva M., Ali V., S. Seifullin Kazakh Agro Technical University (Astana city) trained 2 students of our department - Utebai A., Piyazhan A., Baizhan D. has been trained.

Intensified joint research with foreign scientists. Scientists from Belgium, Russia, Italy, Latvia, Ukraine are foreign scientific consultants for undergraduates of our Chair and actively promote the joint scientific research, come in Shymkent for lecturing. During of 2019 years 2 foreign professors delivered courses of lectures in our department «Food Engineering».
