Since October 21 to November 16, 2019, Dr.PhD of the University of Padova (Italy) Daniele Conficoni was invited to give lectures and conduct scientific consultations at the Food Engineering Department.
Daniele Conficoni - Doctor of PhD, Doctor of veterinary medicine, an experienced teacher and well-known scientist, specialist in the field of veterinary medicine, microbiology of microorganisms, food safety and sanitary hygiene, heis a reviewer in international magazines quartile 1 in the database of Web of Science and a percentile of more than 50 in the base of Scopus: Food Control, Food Chemistry.
During his stay at M.Auezov’ SKSU, he delivered an author's lecture course on sections of the disciplines: “Introduction to Microbiology”, “Food Safety and Hygiene”, “Bacteria and Growth Factor in Food Products” and “Foodborne pathogens”.
His consultations of master's dissertations, reviewing of graduate master's theses were held, recommendations were proposed during the development of OP 6M072800- “Technology of processing industries” and the Educational Programme in the discipline “Food safety and risk management”.
To expand the scope of educational services at M.Auezov’ SKSU, he offered to develop a joint program for the training program for specialists in “Food safety and microbiology”.
He participated in the VI international conference “Industrial Technologies and Engineering-ICITE-2019”. Under his leadership, for the faculty of M.Auezov’ SKSU, a seminar was held on the topic: “Correct publishing in the leading scientific journals”.
As a result of the visit, a plan of promising work in the educational and methodological and research work was drawn up.
